Hi, I'm Cat the face behind Lilyjam Designs. I'm a freelance designer living and working in the lovely village of Burton Upon Stather in North Lincolnshire with my husband and 2 children.

If I'm not creating then I can be found walking our playful Beagle Cleo, playing taxi driver to my son and daughter or curled up on the sofa reading a book.

I have been working in the design industry for over 17 years specialising in branding, packaging  and design for print, I love what I do and still get excited at being able to see my designs in shops, on signs out and about or getting the first glimpse of printed materials.

After studying for my degree in graphic design I started my career as an in-house designer working with international brands Vidal Sassoon, Scholl, Veet and Toni&Guy on their retail product and packaging design as well as catalogue, POS and other marketing materials. During this time I worked closely with both brand managers, buyers and retail partners to develop campaigns and products specifically for the retail sector, and have extensive experience in delivering to fast-moving timelines and working with external printers and factories.

Over the last few years, I have been freelancing, working with a wide range of clients with differing needs. I have worked as an outsourced designer for marketing agencies and web designers, and as a freelance designer for everything from hotels through to dental practices and medical care/supply companies.
